For almost a decade, TMS has planned and managed event transportation for International Market Centers’ bi-annual Las Vegas Market, the leading home furnishings and gift market in the western U.S. IMC’s Winter/Spring Market took place from April 11-15, 2021 at World Market Center Las Vegas and brought buyers and sellers together for the first time in a year.

OPERATIONAL OVERVIEW

TMS was contracted to provide a superior shuttle experience for attendees, while also implementing rigorous health and safety protocols to protect against the spread of COVID-19.

TMS worked closely with IMC’s team to plan and execute all aspects of transportation operations for the Market, determining shuttle routes between contracted hotels and the event site and maintaining safety procedures throughout each phase of loading, unloading, and transit – all while ensuring TMS’ shuttle operation seamlessly integrated with the event’s overall transportation plans.

    Developed and delivered all shuttle services and travel safety signage

    Facilitated ongoing communication among all stakeholders (drivers, IMC on-site teams, TMS staff) to ensure proper guidelines were achieved and documented for each department

    Implemented strict COVID-19 health, safety, and cleaning procedures:

    • • Participated in creating loading zones to implement social distancing throughout loading and unloading areas on property
    • • Adding signage to headrests on each bus to communicate proper social distancing measures when utilizing shuttles
    • • Requiring staff and drivers to wear face masks during all operational hours of the shuttle service
    • • Thoroughly cleaning buses and other vehicles each day, completed with using an electrostatic spray of disinfectant cleaner in the interior of each bus
    • • Performing testing on buses using an ATP meter; disinfecting areas when necessary and retesting to ensure compliance
