Splunk .conf25

The Challenge

Splunk .conf25, held in Boston, MA, required a sophisticated shuttle transportation program to move attendees between multiple Boston-area hotels, the MCEC (Thomas M. Menino Convention Center), and the MGM Music Hall at Fenway for the high-profile closing event featuring Weezer. The event, organized by George P. Johnson on behalf of Splunk, needed a partner capable of coordinating efficient service across multiple venues, accommodating fluctuating ridership patterns between Splunk University, the conference programming, and the evening concert, and managing tight ingress and egress windows, particularly for the “Search Party” concert event.

The Process

TMS implemented a flexible and responsive transportation plan built around service quality, timing precision, and adaptability to real-time demands:

The Results

Operational Excellence

Smooth execution of daily shuttle service to and from Boston hotels and the convention center

Positive Guest Experience

High satisfaction with “Search Party” concert shuttle operations, which handled a major surge in passenger volume with zero incidents and minimal wait times

Efficient Staffing

Flexible staffing and vehicle deployment allowed TMS to scale operations in response to lower-than-anticipated daytime ridership while maintaining service excellence

Client Satisfaction

Positive client feedback for the adaptability and operational control demonstrated during key event moments

The Conclusion

Splunk .conf25 showcased TMS’s ability to scale and adapt shuttle service in a dynamic conference environment. From consistent daily service to the high-pressure “Search Party” movement, TMS delivered reliable, efficient, and guest-friendly transportation that enhanced the overall attendee experience. Our partnership with GPJ reinforced our strength in collaborating with production agencies to fulfill the unique transportation needs of leading tech events.
